Service Technician
We are a family-owned and operated business in the Calgary community for over 40 years. Our business is conveniently located in the Calgary Auto Mall where Deerfoot and Glenmore Trails meet.
Our Service Technicians play a critical role in developing trust, loyalty, and satisfaction that helps foster long-term relationships with our customers. We are seeking an applicant who can work in a fast-paced environment where excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task are required.
Required work schedule is Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5:30 pm and rotating Saturdays from 9:00 am-4:00 pm.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar environment and will demonstrate a commitment to learning new processes/procedures.
Job Description outline includes responsibilities such as.
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including but not limited to; Oil changes, tire rotations/replacement, fluid flushes, air conditioner re-charges, alignments, battery installations, and headlight/taillight installations
- Maintain a working knowledge of manufactures campaign / recalls, technical bulletins, and warranty process
- Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers' problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
- Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness
- Maintain legible and accurate summaries of work performed for the customer, the warranty department, and for our internal records.
- Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
- Stay up to date with Manufactures / Dealership ongoing training
