The Hyundai Tucson is among the most popular and well-loved vehicles in its class. The Korean automaker’s SUV really has it all: it’s stylish, packed with technology, and enjoyable to drive—not to mention its price range, which fits most budgets.
With such a winning formula, one might think Hyundai wouldn’t dare to completely redesign the Tucson. Yet, that’s exactly what has happened with every new generation of the model. And it has always worked out well. The brand is about to prove it once again, as all signs point to the next generation of the Tucson arriving for 2027.
A Santa Fe-Inspired Design
Spy shots of the new Hyundai Tucson have started circulating online, and the first thing that stands out is its boxy silhouette. That’s a good thing, as this type of design is very much in style right now.
Knowing the general shape is one thing, but the best is still to come. Hyundai has shown a lot of boldness in the design details and lighting features of its latest models. The Santa Fe is easily recognizable thanks to its H-shaped headlights and taillights. The Ioniq 5 offers stunning pixel-style lighting. Expectations are high for the new Tucson to deliver something just as daring, but with its own unique design signature.
More Popular Than Ever
Hyundai went all out with the current generation of the Tucson, offering it with several powertrain options, including a hybrid version and a plug-in hybrid setup. It’s very likely that the automaker will carry over the same strategy for the upcoming generation.
We’ll need to be patient to learn more about the model, but the 2027 Hyundai Tucson is expected to be revealed in the coming months. Needless to say, anticipation is running high.
